Kookploeg Solidair is looking for a coach to help us in our project FAN!
Families and Newcomers is a program in which we are trying to include newcomers from all over the world in our kitchens. More specifically this project is aimed at newcomers who are teenagers or young adults.
We have noticed throughout the past three years that this group of people has specific needs that deserve a more specialized way of working.
For this to work, we will need a coach to be the person who works together with them and the organizations in Ghent that help them find a volunteer job.
You will meet participants in the kitchen, give them individual coaching on their specific path, are available to solve problems for and with them.
Who are we looking for?
You’re 21+
You are aware of the specific needs newcomers / youngsters may have
such as trauma, depression, process of acculturation…
You are patient and trustworthy
Experience in the field / study is a + but not a must.
We provide you
